Pogba ruled out of Manchester derby

Paul Pogba was sent off in Manchester United's brilliant 3-1 win at Arsenal, meaning he is set to miss next week's derby against leaders City.
The midfielder was outstanding at the Emirates Stadium, creating Jesse Lingard's second goal with a sublime piece of play, and breaking forward regularly with real purpose. However, he was dismissed by referee Andre Marriner in the 74th minute for a challenge on home full-back Hector Bellerin when over-running the ball.
"I just know Paul is frustrated and a bit disappointed with his colleague [Laurent] Koscielny for his reaction," said Jose Mourinho. "But Paul was very frustrated. Everybody knows he is a clean player and it was not his intention, not at all, to be close to a red card. I've not seen a TV replay so I don't know."
Speaking to MUTV, former Reds manager Ron Atkinson commented: "It didn't look vindictive. It's 100 miles per hour and there can be accidents like that but I suppose the referee will say, by the letter of the law, he was left with no option. But it was a very, very unfortunate incident that wasn't intentional."
Bellerin had received a booking a couple of minutes earlier when clattering into Ashley Young with a reckless tackle while Koscielny later blatantly pulled down Romelu Lukaku, when the last defender, and was perhaps fortunate to only see yellow.
Pogba looks set to receive a three-match suspension, which would rule him out of the derby and also the Premier League games against Bournemouth and West Bromwich Albion. He is definitely still available for Tuesday's Champions League tie against CSKA Moscow at Old Trafford.
Marouane Fellaini was missing from the clash with the Gunners due to injury but Nemanja Matic played the full 90 minutes despite worries over whether he was fully fit and Ander Herrera performed well as a substitute.
