Saka Pleased To Make Arsenal Debut Against Fulham

Arsenalā€™s Bukayo Saka is delighted to have made his Premier League debut for the Gunners in their 4-1 win over Fulham
The 17-year-old came off the substitutes bench to replace Alex Iwobi on his Premier League debut with seven minutes remaining becoming the first player born in 2001 to make an appearance in the top flight.
ā€œRight now Iā€™m feeling so happy, ā€œBukayo told Arsenal.com
ā€œI feel blessed to have made my debut and get minutes on the pitch. I just want to thank my family, my friends and everyone at the club whoā€™s helped me to get to this stage.ā€
ā€œItā€™s been a tough stage, a long stage, but through hard work and determination I managed to get here.ā€
ā€œIā€™m not stopping now. Iā€™m very hungry. I just want to work hard with every chance I get.ā€
ā€œIn training, I just want to impress the coach so I can get back on the pitch.ā€
He had previously made two appearances in the Europa League late last year for the Gunners.
Saka is of Nigerian descent but was born and raised in London.
He has represented England at youth level where he currently plays for the Under-19s.
