Messi hire lawyers to bail Ronaldinho out of jail in Paraguay
According to reports, Messi is going to pay all of Ronaldinho’s debts and will pay €4M to lawyers to get Ronaldinho out of Jail for a fake passport lawsuit against him.
FIRST REPORTS broke the story that the two-time world footballer of the year and his brother were arrested in Paraguay for allegedly using a fake passport on Friday last week.
Prosecutors said the former Brazilian international gave them false documents when they landed in Asuncion on Wednesday.
The former AC Milan man and brother were taken into custody hours after a judge refused to uphold the prosecutor’s proposal for an alternative punishment.
According to Bras Vela, head of the facility Ronaldinho and brother are being held, the Brazilian is adapting to life in the Paraguayan jail, while also stating that his lawyers are working for his release as the investigation continues.
In an interview with Reuters, Vera said: “In broad terms, he is doing very well. I see he is in good spirits, just like you see him on television, always smiling.”
