Paul Scholes Hits Out At Mason Greenwood And Phil Foden's England Omission

 

Paul Scholes has hit out at Mason Greenwood and Phil Foden's England omission with a post on his Instagram story.

The young Three Lions duo were left out of the squad for upcoming matches against Wales, Belgium and Denmark as punishment for breaking quarantine rules by bringing girls back to the team hotel in Iceland.

Manager Gareth Southgate responded to that incident by putting both players on the next flight home, and said after their continued exclusion on Thursday: "We have to send a message to all players in our teams at every age level that that isn't how we do things with England."

That hasn't gone down well with Scholes, however, as the Manchester United legend responded to Southgate's decision on Instagram.
