Arsenal got their first goal through a controversial goal by Emile Smith Rowe as David Gea was down appearing injured.
Manchester United goal keeper David Gea was on the ground after being tripped by his own player – Fred as Emile Smith Rowe fired the shot. The referee Martin Atkinson appears not to have seen United goal keeper in other to blow his whistle. The referee initially overruled the goal but the Video assisted Referee (VAR) awarded the goal to Arsenal.
