Chukwueze: “What Emery Told Me Before Goal Vs Bayern Munich”

 

amuel Chukwueze has revealed the conversation between him and Villareal manager Unai Emery before his introduction in Tuesday night’s UEFA Champions League clash against Bayern Munich.

Chukwueze replaced Arnaut Danjuma in the 84th minute and netted the equalising goal for the Yellow Submarine four minutes later in the 1-1 draw.

Villarreal progressed into the semi–finals 2-1 on aggregate where they will keep a date with Bayern Munich.

“[He told me] run! He just asked me to run. When you don’t have the ball, just run. That’s what he told me,” Chukwueze told reporters.
