Liverpool star Fabinho called out by former Premier League referee after Newcastle win

LIVERPOOL star Fabinho has been called out by former Premier League referee after the Reds’ stirring 3-2 win over Newcastle.

Liverpool battled their way to a 3-2 victory over Newcastle on Saturday to keep their faint hopes of Premier League title glory alive.
The Merseyside giants took the lead through Virgil van Dijk, before Christian Atsu equalised for the hosts.
Liverpool and Newcastle then traded further blows through Mohamed Salah and Salamon Rondon, before Divock Origi popped up with a late winner.
Origi’s goal came after Fabinho had won Jurgen Klopp’s side a free kick in a dangerous position.
et former Premier League referee Mark Halsey does NOT think it should have been given.
"The free-kick for the winning goal should not have been awarded,” he told The Sun.“Fouls are subjective decisions for referees but I felt it was not a free-kick."Fabinho was very clever, he's gone to ground very easily and assistant referee Simon Long has fallen for the free-kick."I am sure when referee Andre Marriner watches the video back he will not be pleased with his assistant's decision to flag for a free-kick.
