Frank Lampard slams Premier League over Manchester United and Liverpool FC fixture advantage

 Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has voiced his frustration at the Premier League fixture schedule by claiming it has handed the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool an unfair advantage in the title race.

Lampard's side were in post-Christmas action against London rivals Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Boxing Day, having beaten West Ham United 3-0 on Monday.

The Blues then have only one full day of rest before their next match at home to Aston Villa next Monday.

Leaders Liverpool have not played since last Saturday, when they thrashed Crystal Palace 7-0 at Selhurst Park.
