Liverpool remain active and competitive in four competitions this season after Sunday's victory over Norwich saw them through to the fifth round of the FA Cup.

That 5-2 win at Anfield came just 48 hours after boss Jurgen Klopp announced he would be stepping down at the end of the season.

It is set to be a very busy summer for the Liverpool hierarchy as they look to ensure Klopp's successor can settle in, while the likes of Virgil van Dijk, Mohamed Salah and Trent Alexander-Arnold will all be entering their final year of their current contracts.

Captain Van Dijk, speaking after the win against Norwich, admits he is "very curious" to see how it all pans out.

"The club will have a big job on their hands, that is well known," Van Dijk said.

"To replace not only the manager but the whole staff and there are so many things that will change.

"I'm very curious which direction that will go in but when that will be announced we will see our situation.

"It will be the end of Jurgen Klopp's era - I am still part of it that's why I don't like to talk about it - and that is my main focus."

Asked whether he saw himself as part of the next era at Liverpool, Van Dijk added: "That's a big question. I don't know."
