Salah Names Trophy He Prefers To Win This Year
Mohamed Salah has made his preference for winning trophies this year, stating he would rather win the Premier League title instead of the Champions League.
Liverpool are in impressive form and are currently leading the Premier League table.
The Reds, who are on 45 points, are six points clear of second-placed Arsenal but with a game in hand.
If things go according to plan, Arne Slot may win his first league title in his very first season in charge.
In an interview with TNT, Salah said winning the Premier League title is a priority to him than the Champions League.
“I want to win the Premier League title more than the Champions League this year,” he told TNT.
“I really want it, as a team we want it.”
Salah has tasted success in both the Premier League and Champions League as a Liverpool player.
He was part of the Reds side under former manaher Jurgen Klopp that won the Champions League in 2019.
The following season, Salah played a key role as Liverpool won a first Premier League title since 1990.
