“We expected a tough match because we knew South Africa is a very good team. They had not conceded a goal in the qualifiers and the challenge was to score against this very good goalkeeper (Kune Itumeleng) which we did,” Rohr began in his post match interview.

“We arrived early Friday without sleeping. The second half was tough we scored the first goal and our tactics were okay. They (South Africa) had to come out and it was difficult for them.
“We started very well and got a goal.
“We tried to score the second goal because we played to win all the time, but we didn’t want to take any risk.”
“South Africa are a very good team and in the second half, they made it very difficult for us after we started the game very well.
“They made it difficult for us n the second half when we tried to score another goal.”
Rohr also tipped South Africa to pick the needed point to qualify for the 2019 AFCON only if they reproduce their form against the Super Eagles when they face Libya in their decisive last Group E match.
“We played against a very good side in Libya in Sfax and I think if South Africa play the way they did against us in March with the impressive Percy Tau, they can win and qualify.”
