Balogun Happy To End 2018 With A Win

Super Eagles defender Leon Balogun is thrilled Brighton Hove Albion ended the year 2018 with a win in the English Premier League
Brighton defeated Everton 1-0 at the Amex stadium on Saturday to end the Seagulls four game winless streak in the EPL.
Jurgen Locadia’s lone strike in the 59th minute handed Brighton all three points, sending Chris Hughton’s side 11 points clear the relegation zone.
Balogun on his part returned to the substitute’s bench after Lewis Dunk and Shane Duffy were available after serving their respective ban.
“Great way to finish the year at home with a 3! And what a way massive result this is,” Balogun tweeted after the game.
“Thanks for your amazing support so far and for making my first six months at Brighton so special. I’ll see you in 2019-be good. Leon.”
The win also saw Brighton keep their first clean sheet in ten EPL games. The Seagulls are now 13th in the Premier League.
Brighton will face West Ham in their next game on the 2nd of January 2019.
