Osimhen Reveals Desire To Win Ballon D’Or

 

Osimhen is in contention for 2023 Ballon d’Or along with 29 other players.

It’s the first time the Nigeria international will be nominated for the award.

“If one day I could get closer to win it, that would be more than a dream come true for me. Just playing at this level is already amazing for me. If it comes, it comes,” ’the Nigeria international told Mario Balotelli’s Twitch Channel, Vox to Box on TV Play.

Mohamed Salah, Andre Onana and Yassine Bonou are the other Africans on the shortlist.

Argentina captain, Lionel Messi and Manchester City forward, Erling Haaland are the favourites to win the award.

The 67th annual Ballon d’Or ceremony will take place at the Theatre du Chatelet in Paris, France on Monday, October 30, 2023.
