Osimhen Starts Pre-Season Training With Napoli

 

Victor Osimhen on Tuesday started pre-season training with Serie A club Napoli, reports 

The future of the Nigeria international remain uncertain despite his arrival for pre-season duty.

According to Football Italia, Osimhen arrived at Castel Volturno on Tuesday morning to undergo medical examinations with Napoli and start pre-season under Antonio Conte.

The striker was among the first players to arrive at Napoli’s training centre.

The 25-year-old is expected to leave the Diego Armando Maradona this summer.

Osimhen’s contract includes a €130m clause, and despite links with Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain, Napoli have not yet heard from potential suitors.

Belgium international Romelu Lukaku has emerged as the primary option to replace him.

He scored 15 goals in 25 league appearances for the Naples outfit last season.
