AFRICANS WANT ETO'O TO REPLACE MOTSEPE AT CAF.

The calls are getting louder. Across social media and football circles on the continent, one name keeps coming up as a replacement for embattled CAF President Patrice Motsepe, Samuel Eto'o.

The groundswell of opinion follows CAF's controversial decision to strip Senegal of the AFCON 2025 title and award it to Morocco, a ruling that has left many Africans questioning the leadership of the confederation.

Eto'o, the Cameroonian football legend and current FECAFOOT President, is seen by many as the kind of bold, passionate, and credible figure African football desperately needs at the top right now.

Whether the four-time African Footballer of the Year has any interest in the role remains to be seen. But one thing is clear, trust in Motsepe is crumbling fast, and the people want change.
