Mikel Arteta wants Arsenal to beat Spurs to the signing of Max Aarons as he has doubts about Hector Bellerin.

Aarons, the Norwich full-back, is highly-rated with Everton and West Ham also keen on the teenager.

According to the Mail, Arsenal made an enquiry this week for Aarons, and a deal could be done this month for £30million.

However, the deal would likely involve Aarons returning to Norwich on loan for the remainder of the season.
